The Return

Her black heart shimmers
As dark olive eyes retract
Her still heart beats
An undercurrent of the night
Day passes night
Night passes day
Starry skies
Scars of the past
A new dawn comes
Her second sight

Return to my side
Smile with my fear
A sudden surge
A star spangled tide
An angel , a dark sister
Justifying my worn out pride
Once again my outsider
Close the circle from inside
